Ms. Raquel Munoz has been named Deputy Director for the Pipeline, Profession & Practice: Community-Based Dental Education (Dental Pipeline) program as of January 1, 2010. James Spears, MD, assistant professor of clinical medicine-family medicine, was nominated for the 2009 Arnold P. Gold foundation Humanism in Medicine Award presented by the Association of American Medical Colleges. He was nominated by members of AAMC's Organization of Student Representatives at P&S. Dr. Spears was among 42 nominees for the national award.
